Hardware options for the dog end of the leash are an auto-locking carabiner suitable for dogs of any weight, a heavy duty snap bolt suitable for dogs over 75 pounds, or a standard snap bolt for dogs under 75 pounds. The human end of the leash will be an appropriate sized standard or heavy duty snap bolt.

Lightweight yet strong, this double ended dog leash is braided to order out of 4 strands of 550 paracord - providing 550 lbs of tensile strength per strand!

Clip it to a waist or crossbody strap for hands-free freedom, and grab the traffic loop for more direct control when needed. The double handles let you easily convert this to a handheld leash when needed.

Pick your preferred snap bolt or auto-locking carabiner to match your pup’s needs. All hardware options can clip to the braided leash for a temporary tether - please supervise your pup while tethered!

We recommend the 8' leash as the perfect length for neighborhood walks and hikes - give your pup just that little bit of extra length for exploring.

Product Component Strength Information

All paracord products are braided by hand in our Colorado workshop.

All paracord products have been pre-washed to shrink the cord prior to braiding your product.

Paracord products can be hand washed, or machine washed tied into a pillow case to limit tangling. Wash on cold, gentle cycle with a mild detergent (no bleach) and hang to dry.

This was exactly what I needed for walking...

This was exactly what I needed for walking and securing my dog outdoors, very handy to have a hook on both ends. Well made and sturdy.

My only comment is while I do like the loops at the ends they are too large. My medium sized cattle dog sometimes gets her leg caught in it.
