Charity Work

Currently I volunteer with two charity organizations in the Denver, Colorado area.

At Foothills Animal Shelter, I spend time with the dogs in our "extended stay" program, who may be working with our trainers for behavioral challenges, dogs receiving medical care, and the dogs under court hold that are often at the shelter for weeks or even months at a time. I also get to spend time with dogs under temporary care as part of our domestic violence support program.

I participate in supporting PorchLight Family Justice Center on behalf of the animal shelter by being onsite once a week to assist guests with pet supplies, free vaccination vouchers, coordination of short term boarding of pets (if needed), and in partnership with Spay Today, providing free spay/neuter services for guests of PorchLight.

Foothills Animal Shelter  https://foothillsanimalshelter.org/

Foothills Animal Shelter is an open admission facility serving Jefferson County in the state of Colorado. We are driven to make lives better for animals and people in our community. We are a Socially Conscious Animal Welfare Organization, creating the best outcomes for all animals that enter our care. We place every healthy and safe animal for adoption. We assess the medical and behavioral needs of homeless animals and ensure these needs are thoughtfully addressed. And, we alleviate suffering through thoughtful euthanasia.
As a Fear Free Shelter, our team operates with the knowledge and tools to look after both a pet’s physical and emotional wellbeing.

PorchLight Family Justice Center  https://www.porchlightfjc.org/

PorchLight Family Justice Center (FJC) provides comprehensive legal, emotional and critical supportive services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, abuse of at-risk individuals, elder abuse, and human trafficking. The center is centrally located in Jefferson County, Colorado. The FJC is a safe, caring environment that provides one-stop services and support. Key local government agencies, law enforcement, community, social and legal service providers, and District Attorney's Offices are located on-site at the FJC to make it easier for victims and survivors to get help. We strive to offer our community a kind-hearted, victim-centered home where victims, survivors, and their children come first as they work through the healing process.

As my business grows, I am looking for recommendations on additional US based charity organizations working in areas of animal rescue and welfare to support. If you have a recommendation for me, please fill out the form below!
